Hello, my name is Adam Ward, founder of Greenstone Services Inc. Incorporated in 2009, our journey began much earlier—in 1999—as a sole proprietorship. My passion for the landscape industry goes back even further, to 1993, when I took my very first job with a landscape contractor who had his own nursery/growing grounds.
That role opened my eyes to the beauty and complexity of plant care, from growing plants from seeds and cuttings to mastering soil health, irrigation, fertilization, proper trimming, and transplanting.Those early experiences built the foundation for a lifelong love of the landscape industry.
A Legacy of Learning and Innovation
In the early years of running Greenstone Services Inc., I focused heavily on improving efficiency through the use of specialized equipment. I invested in the latest tools and utilized the latest techniques for best practices, staying informed through trade magazines, partnerships with other contractors, and even innovations from my dedicated employees who would often improve upon our standard practices.
Over time I recognized that true efficiency comes not just from the right tools and best practices but from optimizing the landscape itself.
